PUREBRED YOUNGSTOCK:

KILRONAN"S GLENSTONE, ID was born 18 April 2006; he is a coppery chestnut with tons of chrome, a white flame that travels from his forehead to his nose and three white legs. On 10 March 2007, Stony measured a little over 14.3 hh and had 8.75 inches of bone. His best features are his neck, shoulders, and gorgeous rear end. Stony has spectacular movement and balance; his collected canter looks like he is waltzing (as if he hears music playing) and yet he can cut hairpin turns that are unbelievable.

PARTBRED MARES:

IDSH MARE
ATTENTION SERIOUS BREEDERS, JUMPERS AND EVENTERS
Gone Away Farm offers for sale a 2004 Enniskeane line bred filly. ENNISKEANE PRINCESS, IDSH   (½ RID, 3/8 TB, 1/8 Percheron). Registration with IDHSNA in process. Coming 3 year old - Foaled:  September 23, 2004

SIRE:  Grange Agustus  RID (Dark Grey 16.2H) (see RID stallion gallery) by Enniskeane Prince, RID, out of Pilgrims Gift RID

DAM:  Karma ¾ TB, ¼ Percheron (Black 15.3H) by non-registered black TB, out of Black Norma ½ TB, ½ Percheron.

LINEAGE:  Grange Agustus RID by Enniskeane Prince RID by Pride of Shaunlara RID by Milestone RID by Galty's Son RID by Galty Boy RID. Grange Agustus, imported from Ireland and certified by the IDHSNA, was the only stallion by ENNISKEANE PRINCE to ever stand in the U.S.  His very calm disposition is passed on to his offspring, making excellent performance horses and field hunters.  Augustus, now 19 years old and no longer servicing mares, fox hunted his entire active adult life, a further testament to his disposition.  Princess' Grand Sire, Enniskeane Prince RID, is the only RID stallion to be listed among the Top Sires in the Irish Horse Board in both Show Jumping and Dressage categories.  The latest“Irish Draught Horse” brochure, published by the Irish Horse Board, contains no less than four (4) horses representing the ENNISKEANE lineage.  This emphasizes the importance of this line to the history of the Irish Draught.

ENNISKEANE PRINCESS' disposition is sweetness and she loves attention.  So easy to handle, a child can lead her.  A quick learner, she drops her head for haltering and loads and backs out of a straight-load trailer. She stands for the farrier, washing, clipping and shots without a flinch.  She is a light gray with a three tone mane and tail, two hock high rear stockings and two mid cannon front stockings.  She has a wide, white blaze and has pink on her lower lip, just like her sire.  Princess stands 15.2 ¼ H at 32 ½ months with long powerful hind legs, indicating more growth to come.  Her shoulder allows for a smooth moving, long, ground-covering trot and an easy soft canter.  When she gallops, she runs with enthusiasm through our connecting pastures, over ditches (purposely dug to get the horses used to jumping them), and through our pond.  She almost always leads her small herd of three.  While not as fast as our well bred 8 Y.O. racing T.B. mare, she obviously likes being the leader. Our 7 Y.O. IDSH gelding along with this T. B. mare defer to her.  Princess is now ready to begin her flat work training.

PRINCESS ALSO COMES WITH TWO (2) PREPAID BREEDING RIGHTS to the well bred
and very athletic young stallion FLAG OF DIAMONDS RID whose sire FLAGMOUNT KING RID is one of the most consistent producers of show jumpers.  In the top 10% of stallions of all breeds registered with the Irish Horse Board, this distinguished son of KING OF DIAMONDS also has the great ERRIGAL top and bottom.  See more on Flag of Diamonds (aka Riley) and Flagmount King at www.irishhorsefarm.com. It was after many hours of study, not by chance, that Princess was paired with Flag of Diamonds.  His jumping form practically guarantees he will never drag a rail with his hind feet (see his video).  His tight tuck up front is also a thing of beauty.  The combination of these two great lines should produce exceptional horses.  Breed Princess now and do her three year old flat work training.  Breed her again as a four year old and continue her flat work and dressage training.  When she turns five she will have given you two foals to keep or sell, and you have a horse ready for her serious jumping and or dressage training.  These breeding rights can also be transferred to another mare with approval from the stallion's owner.

ENNISKEANE PRINCESS is offered at $15,000. Serious inquiries only, please.
